You know how I posted the other day about FitFlops? Well the overwhelming response was that they are a Fashion Don't. I was at the mall in Seattle and saw these new shoes by Sketchers called Shape Ups. 
I know I am gullible, but I kept thinking about them, wondering if they really work. I looked online and found that there is a knock-off sold at Kmart called TheraShoe. They got rave reviews online! So I went over there this morning. Of course, my store was sold out of every pair. I finally tracked some down after calling 4 stores.
So instead of spending over $200 for MBT's, or $100 for Sketchers, I scored a pair for $34.00. I tried them out tonight and they are so comfortable and bouncy. I can't wait to take them out on the trail tomorrow.
If you see me - feel free to look the other way. 
I also got 2 pair of their FitFlop knockoffs. They were on sale for $9.99!

Very cute post! I've got to defend Fitflops though ... after surgery to remove a bone spur and other major feet problems ... and living in the Phoenix desert where I HAVE to be able to wear some sort of sandal, Fitflops are about the only thing I CAN wear. What I wouldn't do to be able to buy a pair of shoes off the rack again! I hope your readers won't judge those of us who have to wear Fitflops ... we wish we could be more fashionable! btw ... where did you get your Fitflop knockoffs for $9.99? I've been paying $50 each for the real ones and would love to have more colors!

We're just hanging around the house for the 4th (my husband has to work) and then walking to our local fireworks. Should be nice!

This year we are going to Colorado for vacation. We fly out Saturday and we are hoping to catch a firework show in the mountains. I will see you when I get back from vacation.

I can definitely use a pair of thera shoes before school starts this year. I teach preschool and I am on my feet 99.9% of the time. $37 is a great deal compare to $100.

Um, they are pretty fashion horrible, but if I saw you on the street I wouldn't look away, I would walk with you! That's just the kind of friend I am...of course then we would have to walk to a shoe store and seriously grab some new ones :)

These look great... knock-offs eh.... well why not?!?! the price is right and they do look comfy.. I don't wear flip flops .... they irritate me between the toes.... sigh....

Let us know if they work. I don't think they are too silly looking. Most people wouldn't even notice you weren't wearing a regular shoe
